Tania León (born May 14, 1943 in Havana, Cuba), a vital personality in today’s music scene & desired as a composer & conductor, has been recognized for her important accomplishments as an pedagogue & adviser to arts organizations.

From either 1993 to 1997 she was Future Music Advisor to Kurt Masur and the Up to date York Philharmonic.
